10. Fa mal a la imatge de Barcelona i Catalunya

This show was indeed something I really didn’t expect to see in my city. When I started to listen to Japanese rock music, no band came to play here, I think they just played in Berlin and Paris. Then bands started to come, and then bands like Despairs Ray, An Cafe, Miyavi, Versailles and MUCC came to Barcelona as well. But people never expected Gackt to come to Spain to play. Never. Lots of times people said Gackt was planning to come, but it was never true. Then last year they said he was coming to Barcelona to make a gig just for his Japanese Fan Club. It was like wtf, I can’t believe he’s going to do something like this to his international fans. In the end he just came for a calendar photo shoot. And he wrote something in his blog that Spanish girls didn’t like at all xDDDDDDDD
But some months ago, people started to talk about Gackt coming to Barcelona to play and I was like, so he’s really going to do that Japanese-only gig? But NO! It was a Europe tour for everybody! I couldn’t believe it. Will I be able to get a ticket? YES! :D

Paris & Japan Expo 2010
July 3: Flight, DVD, wasting time, waiting, YOSHIKI signing session
July 4: Japan Expo, YOSHIKI & ToshI showcase, Benjamin, Seikima II showcase
I met my Spanish friends in front of Junkudo, the Japanese library. It’s the 4th time I go to this library. I usually buy music magazines or art-books, but this year I didn’t buy anything, the yen is sooooo high now, and I didn’t have place in my suitcase xD I wrote down the name of an interesting book: 100 Masters of Bishojo Painting.

Paris & Japan Expo 2010

I woke up at 9:00 because I wanted to sleep… I was still very tired because the guys didn’t let me rest but well. At least my feet were there again xD
I picked the CDs and the art-book from Benjamin, my favourite illustrator, which I had carried from Spain.

I woke up at 6:00 and I was damn tired from the Versailles concert from the previous day. I hadn’t really slept because of the nerves. I went to the airport without having breakfast, said goodbye to my family and went to the boarding gate.
In June I saw this post news in Xplosion (An X JAPAN news fan-site were I’m the Spanish translator). YOSHIKI and ToshI in the Japan Expo. I had already seen YOSHIKI three years ago in his Q&A session in the Japan Expo, but I had never seen ToshI. Anyway, I didn’t think I would be able to go because any of my friends wanted to go and I didn’t want to go alone. But then they said they were going to do an acoustic showcase. ToshI singing and YOSHIKI playing piano means Ashura has de be there!
